An-eagla a bhí orm go ndéanfar damáiste do bhraiteoir mo cheamara agus mé ag déanamh an ghrianghraif. Ach tá sé fós beo, baochas le dia. Tá fócas beagán shite toisc ná raibh uaim súcradh leis an gceamara ró-fhada agus é dírithe i dtreo na gréine.
Satarn um thráthnóna an Aoine bheag so. Déanta le lionsa scatháin ZM-5A 500 mm agus teleconverter 2×. Cruach de sé grianghraif.
An Ghealach inniubh.
Treecreeper – but a common one or short-toed one? Taken in a park in #Poznań.
11. Ceann amháin eile, arna dhéanamh Lá Nollag in Wałcz. Ach ní mór dom a rá nách mar sin ba cheart a bheith don gheimhreadh sa Pholainn…
One additional photo, taken on Christmas Day in #Wałcz. But I must say it’s not how winter is supposed to be in Poland…
And the same creature (at my partner’s parents’ house), this time with a “normal”, glass-based, lens¹ without absurdly large reach. And slightly better calibrated colours.
¹ Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 mark 1
When you’ve a lens with 2000 mm full-frame equivalent reach (1000 mm on a μ4/3 body) in a small flat apartment, bad weather, and nothing productive to do for a while.
E-M5 mk. 3 + ЗМ-5А 500 mm + 2x teleconverter, 6400 ISO, 1/13 s.
10. Moon.
A moon shot with a Soviet-era 500mm #MirrorLens ЗМ-5А (ZM-5A). I was surprised by its sharpness. The softness in the photo is due to atmospheric movements and me stacking multiple photos with slightly different distortions.
8. “Making-of”.
Taken during the Zajdel Awards ceremony during #Polcon 2024 in Toruń.
I like the composition here too.
4. A rainbow in the Isle of Arran.
Not a great shot, and I need to improve my landscapes editing skills, but still I like the rainbow colours.
3. A ring-tailed lemur in Edi zoo. Not proud of the lighting and colours, but I like the composition.
2. A meerkat in Edinburgh zoo.
Cúpla grianghraf is fearr liom dar dheineas i mbliana ó cheannaíos an ceamara.
Ach nílim cinnte an ndéarfainn gur maith ceann acu – ní bhead im ghrianghrafadóir profisiúnta choíche.
And another result of me playing with the ЗМ-5А (ZM-5A) 500 mm #MirrorLens and image stacking (13 bright exposures for the moons, 20 darker ones of the planet).
Not great but much better than I’d anticipated.
My brother lent me an old ЗМ-5А (ZM-5A) 500 mm f/8 mirror lens and a 2× teleconverter.
This is the result of me playing with it yesterday. :) Five stacked exposures at 1/20 s each, ISO 640 each.
Effective focal length 1000 mm, equivalent of 2000 mm full-frame.
The lens is pretty much a compact Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with m42x1 mount.

Do bhíos tigh m’athar, i Myślibórz, mar a mbíonn an spéir níos dorcha ná a bhíonn i bPoznań. Dheineas cúpla grianghraf agus cuireadh ionadh mór orm tar éis Réaltra Andraiméide dh’fheiscint dom i gceann acu!
