Adam Jacobs Crouse<p>I think it will be easy to remember the German word for wedding, which is "Hochzeit". If you break the word apart, which is always done in German, it becomes "hoch" (high) and "Zeit" (time). In English we have "It's high time..." which is an idiom loosely meaning "finally" but subtly more offensive. But only slightly.
