L'exercice consistait à réaliser un objet sans aucune utilité et sans "volonté" d'aboutir à une forme qui ressemble à quelque chose. <br>

L'étape de lu modelage était délicat, parce qu'on n'arrête jamais d'essayer, au contraire, de faire émerger une forme connue... A un moment de mon travail, j'avais trois serpents dressés autour d'une espèce de tour avec un plateau. Et je me disais qu'on pourrait y poser une bougie. Impossible de "faire taire" l'interprétation cognitive, il fallait constamment la surveiller. Apprendre à "laisser faire", en dehors de la conscience immédiate, un véritable apprentissage. <br>

les briquesCoup de bol, une petite expo sur l’architecture École d’Amsterdam dans la province de Groningue ("Amsterdamse School & Zo") démarrait fin juin au Veenkoloniaal Museum de Veendam. Au programme, des panneaux explicatifs, des plans, des meubles et des objets, c’était sympa. Le reste du musée, consacré à l’histoire glorieuse de l’exploitation de la tourbe dans la région était (un peu contre toute attente, je l’avoue) une bonne surprise aussi, et en prime il y avait quelques jolies architectures à voir dans le coin : bilan de la journée de jeudi tout à fait satisfaisant, on valide Veendam. Brick #1: Books<br>
For the past decade I have been moving around so many places, living a few months here, a couple years there... never really settling. So my home might look very different from other people's home. It's made of the objects I carry with me in my backpack and suitcases and of memories I make and people I meet.<br>
In this project I represented those objects in the shape of bricks, like I use them to build this home even when in between places.<br>
<br>
Books are part of the objects I carry around in various shapes (paperback or electronic). Or else I find my way to books always registering to local libraries.<br>

Here are tests of firing magazine pages in a ceramic electric kiln at around 1000C. The paper doesn't fully burn to ashes like we could think it would at those temperatures.<br>
Over time this changes, the paper sucks in the humidity and it grows and becomes like a white powder.<br>
