EurekAlert!For a while, crocodileResearchers examined teeth and skulls of 99 extinct crocodylomorph species and 20 living crocodylian species to reconstruct their dietary ecology and identify characteristics that helped some groups persist through two mass extinctions. They discovered that one secret tocrocodylian longevity is their remarkably flexible lifestyles, both in what they eat and the habitat in which they get it.

Behold!! The Croco-Bat (?) 🐊🦇

I finally made my fursona! A mix between 2 characters [A crocodile and a bat] that I used in the past to repesent myself but never felt like those were fursonas of mine at all... until I fuse them ✨

I will continue drawing myself as a human bc I like also how I draw myself in that way, but sometimes I will also draw myself as a furry~ Mostly when I want to interact with my furry OCs (?)

I had so much fun designing her. I even broke some personal rules of design while drawing her and it felt so good~ I hope you guys like it!!!! 💖

- Drawing Type: Normal Style / Colored Sketch / Fullbody - [ 1 ] Character/s: * Furry / Crocodile + Bat / Female - Background: Flat Color - Description: Design of my fursona! She's a mix between a crocodile and a bat. Her design is mostly soft pink with some hadr pink details in zones like the tail, wings and ears. On the wings and the hair the colors change to a deep blue, and have purple eyes, but most of the time she have a "toony" look that doesn't show that detail. The anatomy is mostly of a bat, but she have the crocodile elements like in her tail and the stomach, as well of having claws like a reptile

Never been very good at drawing, but when my grandsons request specific paintings, I try. 6yo requested a crocodile (yikes!). 2.5yo requested Scar from The Lion King (more yikes!). After online research, I spent hours working in pencil to recreate two images I liked best. Then I used a black Sharpie to go over my pencil lines; paint to come.
When I showed 'em to the 6yo, he was THRILLED with the croc's open mouth, so I feel I chose wisely, lol!

Kev is one of 6 main characters in the wheelchair basketball comic I'm working on. He's is a retired wheelchair rugby player - hence why his chair looks so different to the other characters I've drawn so far - and when his wife (who's art is coming soon) started a wheelchair basketball team, but was struggling to get the numbers to actually play, he signed up too.
Personality wise, Kev is the team's jokey uncle and is meant to be a direct foil to the more serious characters on the team, like Ruby. He's already done the whole "serious athlete thing" and while he enjoys the game, at the end of the day, just there to have fun and support his wife, and remind the younger members to not get too wrapped up in it all.
He's a quad amputee (through the palms on his hands, above the knee on his legs) and is missing a good chunk of his tail too, making him a low-pointer on the court. Low point players are those who's disabilities impact their ability to play more severally, and they usually play in more defensive and supportive rolls than high-point players.
