#jonseekers wait for results of the challenges they take between the jobs , to position ourselves in the competition and peg our expectations accordingly or discover our current interests , strength and weekness outside the workplace st we can communicate and play on them we re asked about them in the interview.
For that to happen we need #worklifebalance and that's the hardest thing to reason . Hence we switch jobs .
That's the gap in the #resume and holes in our pockets , which affects the #stayingpower and that's why #hrnegotiations revolve on the workload and pay beyond the #costofliving
Even if one hits the sweetspot without a #burnout, its one's prerogative how one utilizes that work life balance ( spare time) , depending on their exposure and whatever delicate position they re in , some utilize it to try their hand at some professional challenge , results of which , if not negative or false positives, they can communicate next time , even with that they need find the place which values it more than nothing, most of them would not and prefer that you did that on previous site and how your manager at that time valued them , which roughly means did you do whatever you were told to :)

CBS News - "#Layoffs across the US this year have climbed to their highest level since the #pandemic slammed the #economy in 2020. Tariffs and US companies

A solitary example (although buying ahead has been common). What will tariffs do in the medium term to the cost of living in the US? Unless of course they dragoon people into forced labor camps…

But I suppose they might not be too obvious to many before the mid terms.

Vox Political · Peter Oborne is right to support the 50p tax rateBy Mike Sivier

The problem with #QE and inflating asset prices is that one by one the assets are priced out of reach of middle class and lower middle class till none are left. This train ride has been going on since 2008, more than 17 years and counting. Added to this is the liberal capitalism which promotes transfer of wealth from the bottom 70% to the top 10%. And finally the #forever wars, which are paid for in debt.

Chickens were bound to come home to roost.
