-clasticartistic-<p>Swapped my Dreamcast's PSU. Planning on doing a GDEMU install at some point, and while the stock PSU is perfectly good, it being a PAL unit means it doesn't like the 12V rail not being used. The capacitor trick in the stock PSU seems a bit dodge, so decided to replace it with the Robot_Retro unit.</p><p>I'm using a uGreen Nexode mini 30W as the AC-DC.</p><p>Find it here: <a href="https://www.robotretro.co.uk/product/dreamcast-replacement-power-supply-usbc-type-c-mod-with-3d-printed-spacer/44?cp=true&amp;sa=false&amp;sbp=false&amp;q=false&amp;category_id=12" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">robotretro.co.uk/product/dream</span><span class="invisible">cast-replacement-power-supply-usbc-type-c-mod-with-3d-printed-spacer/44?cp=true&amp;sa=false&amp;sbp=false&amp;q=false&amp;category_id=12</span></a></p><p><a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/dreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dreamcast</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/segadreamcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>segadreamcast</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/psu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>psu</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/USBPD" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>USBPD</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/Robot_Retro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Robot_Retro</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/sega" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sega</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/Consolemodding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Consolemodding</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/powersupply" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>powersupply</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/powersupplies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>powersupplies</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/usbc" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>usbc</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/consolemods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>consolemods</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/retrogaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retrogaming</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/retro" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retro</span></a> <a href="https://sunny.garden/tags/retroconsole" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retroconsole</span></a></p>
NekoArc<p>Finally getting around to a several year old project of restoring a spare Game Boy I have. I think I picked this up at a goodwill but it's been so long I don't remember. This shell was absolutely DISGUSTING but it's nice and clean now as best as I can get it.</p><p>I don't plan on retrobriting it because I want it to show off it's character when it's in working condition. Once I replace all the corroded battery contacts, I'll test it to see if it works. Thankfully, none of the corrosion seeped into the main boards at all so I have high hopes for it.</p><p>If it works, I'll get to work replacing the screen, and order some speaker and power mods to modernize it a bit. Unsure if I'm gonna go with a rechargeable battery or not sometime down the line.</p><p><a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/Gaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Gaming</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/RetroGaming" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroGaming</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/Nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Nintendo</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/GameBoy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>GameBoy</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/DMG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DMG</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleRepair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleRepair</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleMods" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleMods</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/ConsoleModding" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ConsoleModding</span></a> <a href="https://tsukihi.me/tags/DIY" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DIY</span></a></p>

Meekers 🌆<p>My favorite "accidental" mod job. Was going for lit buttons on a custom Game Boy I already had.
