Imagine how unstable a fusion combustion engine would be?

The premise would be that you'd have 3 pistons, each feeding a crank shaft connected to a generator.

You'd also have this underwater or some other coolant as to siphon the heat away, maybe add a turbine to the shaft to help move the liquid away from the pistons.

The first combustion either blows up everything, rips the shaft apart, or provides just enough force to force the next piston to combust.

Visualizing Unstable Flames

Inside a combustion chamber, temperature fluctuations can cause sound waves that also disrupt the flow, in turn. This is called a thermoacoustic instability. In this video, researchers explore this process by watching how flames move down a tube. The flame fronts begin in an even curve that flattens out and then develops waves like those on a vibrating pool. Those waves grow bigger and bigger until the flame goes completely turbulent. Visually, it’s mesmerizing. Mathematically, it’s a lovely example of parametric resonance, where the flame’s instability is fed by system’s natural harmonics. (Video and image credit: J. #Combustion

One day you believed that fire is delivered by lightning.

Then you learned that it is produced by combustion.

You have revised your understanding and wouldn't have faith in lightning for your cooking anymore.

You have grown your consciousness.

Why do 8 billion sub-humans still believe outdated flat-eartish creationist idiocies?

The likes found in 'holy' toilet paper and satanic 'scriptures' or blared by propaganda engines?

A combustible world: "Any city can burn now. "
21st-century fires

"The intensity of the fire ...burned basically the same way as the ones in LA. You had the drought, you had the fuel, you had the wind and that’s all you need. That can be recreated anywhere in the world. Any city can burn now. "

"Don’t look at the fire, look at the wind. If the wind is blowing over you, it means the embers are, too. The fire could be 2 miles away, but if the wind is toward you, the embers are, too, and act accordingly."

"Fire fuel "used to be thought of as "the bush" leaf litter, grasses, shrubs, trees, in short Australian biodiversity. Now it is also houses, all the stuff and the petrol derived products and infrastructure.

How Old Fashioned A Petrol Engine Seems

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Every single time I go from driving an EV to driving a petrol car I am struck by old fashioned and smelly old cars are compared to new ones. In this context an old car is any car that has a petrol engine rather than an electric motor.

I had to play musical cars just now, and put the winter tires into the petrol car, to get them swapped so that I can drive in winter safely. In the process I had to move two cars around so that the petrol car is in front.

In the process I was struck by the stink left by the petrol car. It could also be related to a stinky motorbike that was started by someone else, and revved two or three times, before the person left. Upon reflection the stink might be from the motorbike.

Now, back to the petrol car, it's amusing to see how much faster the electric motor reacts to input. With the car there's a lag between pressing the accelerator and having enough power for the car to move. It feels wasteful to use a petrol car after driving an EV.

The EV is not mine, I just borrow it every so often, so that the car does not sit in a garage too long, without being used.

The biggest hurdle to enjoying an EV is not the car itself, but finding quick and convenient charging. Now that I have an RFID card and two charging solutions that work I have increased my EV related freedom, and range. When I do have my own EV I will be ready to take advantage of it, even without home charging.

"Air pollution
accounted for 8.1 million deaths globally in 2021, becoming the second leading risk factor for death, including for children under five years. Of the total deaths, noncommunicable diseases including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, lung cancer, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) account for nearly 90% of the disease burden from air pollution."

"In 2021, more than 700,000 deaths in children under 5 years were linked to air pollution; this represents 15% of all global deaths in children under five.'

"The fact is that more and more municipalities across the country are effectively banning #internal #combustion [#ICE] lawn equipment from #lawnmowers to edgers to leaf blowers – and the ones that aren’t outright banning small engines are banning them indirectly with increasingly stringent #noise #regulations. Translation: if you plan on making a living in #landscaping, you’re going to need to pony up for an #electric mower rather sooner than later."

Story time:

I was traveling in a car with a petrolhead friend of mine. (He doesn't like electric vehicles at all.) I was feeling a bit nauseous. So I asked him whether I can lower my window, just a bit. 😅

He said we are on the road and the "pollution" would come in. 🙀

Moral of the story: Petrolheads only love the smell of unburnt fuel. The exhaust: not at all! 😷

Exhaust should be dumped -- as if the atmosphere is some waste dumping area. Such hypocrisy!!! 🤕😑

For a bit of fun, I like to imagine lyrics in #pop #commercial #music that could help change the world for the better.

Lenny Kravitz - #FossilFuels are Dead! youtu.be/E3WSLZ1PBhw?si=a3j_x8
Fossil fuels are dead!
You think you're on top of the world
But you know it's really over
Runnin' round with diamond rings
And coke spoons that are overflowin'

Fossil fuels are dead!
But all the #money in the world
Can't buy you from the place you're going to
