I fixed my MISTer!
After three years of problems, my retrogaming station is back to life. I've been catching up on what's been happening over the last few years with the latest cores and games.
The N64 core has been marked complete. Once considered impossible on the MISTer, it's an astonishing technical achievement and is heaven to play. As a result, Super Mario 64, 1080 Snowboarding and Road Rash have been getting quite a workout.
The Sega Saturn has come along in leaps and bounds also. Sega's 32-bit swing and a miss is home to one of the best conversions of my favourite racing game of all time - Sega Rally. It also has a couple of classics I've not played much of: Panzer Dragoon and Treasure's prince-among-shooters, Radiant Silvergun.
Achieving this level of retrogaming emulation in a tiny box on an LCD screen and doing it as an open-source hobby is just incredible.
Thanks to all the devs, especially Sorgelig for establishing the platform.
Thanks to the MISTer FPGA forums and YT people like @lu_source help me get back up to speed quickly.
