JulieB<p>The church I left believes the pastor is not required to report known CSA. NY State has no law that requires that pastor to report. They are attempting to pass that law now: the Care Act. Towns are voting. Counties are voting. </p><p>The county this string of churches resides in voted the Care Act down last night. </p><p>I am sick.</p><p>This issue is not just big denominations, it's small towns &amp; rural locations where everyone plays along &amp; hides the abuse &amp; protects the abuser. </p><p><a href="https://deacon.social/tags/CFCtoo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CFCtoo</span></a></p>
