Most of thse are manufactured in India and China. If either were to place <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cess" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cess</span></a> or <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/restrictions" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>restrictions</span></a> on those, patients in the US would be in a world of trouble. Generic formulations have very thin margins and prices are regulated by law. So, many of the importers would simply exit the market and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/patients" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>patients</span></a> would <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/die" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>die</span></a>. These <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/homicidal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>homicidal</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pricks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>pricks</span></a> would not even bat an eyelid at that.</p>
