The left leaning editorialized cable news network, that once took on the MS in a 90s era partnership with <a href="https://c.im/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a> , now is being divested by <a href="https://c.im/tags/Comcast" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Comcast</span></a> and will become <a href="https://c.im/tags/MSNOW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MSNOW</span></a> aka My Source News Opinion World owned by Versant. </p><p>Versant is a holding company created in the effort to spin off cable channels with fading revenues from core <a href="https://c.im/tags/NBCUniversal" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NBCUniversal</span></a> assets. The Comcast CEO's family wound up personally owning 33% of the joint venture.</p><p>Somehow <a href="https://c.im/tags/Versant" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Versant</span></a> owned <a href="https://c.im/tags/CNBC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>CNBC</span></a> will be allowed to retain its current branding sans any <a href="https://c.im/tags/Peacocks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Peacocks</span></a> in its logo, as will E! And USA Network.
