Willow (she/her)I'm kind of amazed how much time the crows are immediately spending at the bath, drinking water.Makes me wonder if there aren't good sources nearby? Willow (she/her)Crow friend is back. I think this one has a small leucistic strip of white on its wings.This crow has been a pretty regular visitor already, although they weren't out this morning, they showed up immediately after I refreshed the water.Debating a name for them. My son and partner are taking bets on how long til the crows start bringing gifts. Sisyphus with a HatA couple of times over the last few weeks, I found the peanut ring feeder much depleted and sometimes even on the ground in the morning. I thought it was that squirrel I photographed 2 weeks ago. Well, yesterday my new wildlife camera arrived. C++ Wage SlaveA new family of <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/moorhens" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#moorhens</a> has started visiting our <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/BirdFeeder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#BirdFeeder</a>. They're beautiful, but brutal. Even the juveniles will see off much bigger birds, such as magpies and crows. The <a href="https://infosec.space/tags/crows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#crows</a> are terrified of them!Until now, the crows have bullied everything else in the garden short of foxes and badgers, and they don't like this new regime at all. They're reduced to waiting until the moorhens aren't about, quickly filling their beaks with as much as they can carry, and flying away to eat in safety.
