theguardian.com/politics/2025/. This is what #Starmer is all about - & what a genuine #Labour Party, without quotation marks, is NOT about, @ChrisMayLA6, @HarriettMB. He does NOT represent genuine Labour values & principles - he's an enemy of every single one of them, @junesim63. A real Labour Government would be increasing #disability #benefits, not cutting them, & would be improving #SEND #education for #disabled #children.

The Guardian · Labour MP suspended for opposing disability cuts will keep speaking for ‘invisible in society’By Eleni Courea

Are unclaimed benefits ready to be used to alleviate child poverty (by contributing to the costs of removing the two child benefit cap)?

Jan Pahl, thinks s, but while to some extent I agree, it does present two Q.s:

Who has not claimed their due benefits & why?

If this money was re-directed wouldn't there need to be (if there isn't already?) a time limit to the application for benefits (to ensure that money actually is 'available' for redistribution)?

@ChrisMayLA6 @sjwrenlewis Really? The supposed "U-turn" on #disability #benefits is just a tactical retreat until Timms delivers his Review, & the cut to the health element of UC is going ahead. Furthermore, the Govt. plan to cut the legal entitlement of #disabled #children to #SEND #education. Starmer has reiterated his opposition to a #wealth tax. There's plenty of money for nuclear warheads, though!
