Ed W8EMV :radio_tower:<p>Baseball DX, <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/KOA" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KOA</span></a> Denver 850 AM. Rockies playing someone, I guess there have been a lot of home runs in the game. Spring training statistics are not particularly important.</p><p>Last year's reliable <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/KiwiSDR" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KiwiSDR</span></a> is offline, but KOA is an easy pickup from the <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/KA0GBG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KA0GBG</span></a> system in nearby suburban Lakewood, Colorado with the meter at S9+20.</p><p>Looking forward to opening day.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/baseballdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>baseballdx</span></a></p>
Ed W8EMV :radio_tower:<p>Cory <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/W3JL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>W3JL</span></a> runs a KiwiSDR in Ohio (EN91) outside of Cleveland, which means it's an excellent listening post to pick up <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/WTAM" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WTAM</span></a> 1100 broadcasting spring training baseball. Listening to the Guardians take on the Diamondbacks. Thanks Cory!</p><p><a href="https://www.qrz.com/db/w3jl" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">qrz.com/db/w3jl</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>I should be able to pick up AM 1100 in SE Michigan, and my usual local SDR "misdr" just north of here has a pretty fair signal. I can catch the signal at home on my Youloop but it sounds better via remotes.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/kiwisdr" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>kiwisdr</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/baseballdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>baseballdx</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/amdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>amdx</span></a></p>

The adjacent channel <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/WLW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WLW</span></a> 700 Cincinnati is considerably stronger here in SE Michigan.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/amdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>amdx</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/baseballdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>baseballdx</span></a></p>

Ed W8EMV :radio_tower:<p>KCSP is an AM station with "only" 5000 watts, but it's S9+50 into KiwiSDR <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/KD4HSO" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KD4HSO</span></a> in Overland Park, KS (less than 5 miles away from the transmitter, if I read the map right). </p><p>Listening to Royals-Angels, currently reviewing a contested 2-run HR (call on the field overturned).</p><p>The Royals are a difficult catch otherwise on KiwiSDR, there are just not a lot of strong stations in their network, and just not a lot of KiwiSDR installations in KS/MO/IA/NE.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/baseballdx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>baseballdx</span></a></p>
