Ricardo Harvin<p>I watched <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Barbenheimer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Barbenheimer</span></a> in that order about a week apart and that worked out perfectly for me, letting the weight of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Oppenheimer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Oppenheimer</span></a> resonate unimpeded by the fun and subtle subversions of <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Barbie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Barbie</span></a>.</p><p>So I'll finally watch <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/PoorThings" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PoorThings</span></a> now, and then <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/KillersOfTheFlowerMoon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KillersOfTheFlowerMoon</span></a>..soon?</p><p>I understand <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Kawenn%C3%A1hereDeveryJacobs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KawennáhereDeveryJacobs</span></a>' criticism, like mine regarding <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Black" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Black</span></a> trauma <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/films" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>films</span></a>, but stories of the violence against our <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Native" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Native</span></a>, <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Indigenous" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Indigenous</span></a> populations haven't yet been fully told and I want to educate myself.</p>
