Tim 🎮
Had to laugh when I opened this spool of #BambuLab TPU. Maybe they were having a muck-up day at the factory? I've never seen a *brand new* spool of anything look like hastily-coiled spaghetti.

Hopefully there's no hard crossovers in there - I guess I'll find out when I go to print something?

#3DPrinting @3dprinting@a.gup.pe @3dprinting@techhub.social

Dorian
Yay... out of nowhere my #Bambulab #P1S is no longer accessible.

It's online and pingable, but still not accessible.

__Miguel_
Heads up if you're upgrading from a #BambuLab A1 Mini with AMS to the A1, while reusing the AMS from the Mini.

You'll want to get PTFE tubing (at least 2mm ID 4mm OD, 3mm ID might be better) and cut two lengths of it, around 17.5cm longer than the long ones that came with the AMS. Then replace the short tubes by the long ones, and the long ones by the new ones.

I chose that size because that's the difference between the short and long ones that came with the AMS Lite from my Mini.

That should hopefully leave you with enough breathing room that the printer will not be constantly tugging on the AMS, and cause constant filament jams and waste filament, which is what was happening to me.

#3dprinting

Leniwcowaty :linuxmintnew:
Just learned, that #bambulab not only provides users with ready-to-go printers, that just work out of the box, can be used with your phone with absolutely no knowledge what even slicer is, but they also have a whole-ass Bambu Lab Academy, that has interactive courses with photos and videos, explaining everything about each of their printers in detail, starting from unboxing, ending on 3D modelling and custom print profiles.

HOW COOL IS THAT FOR A BEGINNER?

DeltaWye
So interesting #bambulab #p1s printing error - incorrect fan speed feedback from the print head. Got this several times and abandoned the print job.

What’s interesting is I was printing several parts with embedded neodymium magnets. Strong ones. The errors started after the pause layer where I carefully inserted the six magnets and it was doing the first bridge layer over top to “bury” them.

I’m wondering if these magnets either interfered with the fan or the circuitry inside that detected fan speed. It only started doing this when I printed six at the same time fairly close together - just after the magnets were inserted.

Doing a test with just two that are far apart from each other - didn’t see this error when printing just one. #3dprinting

Patrick  🏳️‍🌈

Filamentkosten alleine also etwa 150€.

#3ddruck #BambuLab

Natasha Nox 🇺🇦🇵🇸
Lol are they high or sth? 16.99€ is more than a spool of PETG. If it's on sale you sometimes can even get almost 2kg of PLA+ for that price.

Which you can use to print your own reusable spools.

On your 3D printer you obviously have.

Where do they take that overblown price from?
#3DPrinting #BambuLab #3DJake
