Mika<p>Oh no lol, just watched an old WSJ video explaining <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/ApplePay" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ApplePay</a>, digital wallets, and banks in general - and they seriously implied that contactless (physical) card payments were introduced by banks to <i>compete</i> with these contactless, <i>cardless</i> payments like <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/Apple" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Apple</a> Pay and <a href="https://sakurajima.social/tags/GooglePay" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#GooglePay</a><span>.<br><br>Reading the comments - a lot have mentioned that that isn't true, and that may only be what it seems in the US lol.
