A dreadful story in the news about some flying possums dumped outside a Lidl, and they're now being cared for by a zoo. But the terminology of the zoo leaves a lot to be desired too. They talk about them being cared for and

"where they will hopefully move into a new habitat where they will be on show for our visitors"

Seriously - on show?! It is 2025 - surely we no longer expect animals to be "on show" for us piddly weak humans. This is why I refuse to visit zoos.
