PindoramaLançado nesta segunda-feira (21), o Atlas dos Conflitos no Campo Brasileiro revela o peso da Amazônia na geografia da violência agrária no país. Entre 1985 e 2023, a região concentrou quase metade (44%) dos 50.950 casos, segundo dados compilados pela CPT (Comissão Pastoral do Campo), responsável pela publicação. Desse total, 84% referem-se a disputas por terra, 8,9% a casos de trabalho escravo, e 7,1% a conflitos por água.O documento foi lançado durante o 5º Congresso Nacional da entidade, realizado em São Luís (MA), em comemoração aos 50 anos de existência da pastoral ligada à Igreja Católica. E um dos achados importantes é que muito dessa transição alimentar vai pra conta da merenda escolar - é um dos vetores importantes dessa mudança.Eu mesmo, nos meus 10 anos vivendo no interior do Amazonas, vi e ouvi coisas como "comer peixe é coisa de pobre" e mães dando salsicha em lata para os filhos.Essa pesquisa vai desenvolver um índice de diversidade biocultural alimentar, que vai ajudar a informar políticas públicas de segurança alimentar e saúde pública. Pouco antes de assumir o cargo estadual, em 2022, também solicitou autorização para exploração de madeira em outro imóvel, de 45 mil hectares, localizado na mesma área protegida.As terras ligadas ao secretário-adjunto somam mais de 92 mil hectares — o equivalente a quase nove vezes a área da cidade de Paris, capital da França — e cobrem 60% da unidade de conservação de uso sustentável.Por telefone, o secretário titular da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Ambiental (Sedam), Marco Antonio Ribeiro de Menezes Lagos, disse que não comentaria o caso. “Sobre isso, eu não vou me manifestar pessoalmente, estou entrando de férias hoje.
