Does anyone know of any good HAM radio resources? I’d like to get my cert but have no idea where to even begin #amatureradio

Showing off some #amatureradio kit.
Please send help. I can't tell the difference between ... and ..-
Ay thanks for all the ham radio boots/follows! I'm just getting back into the hobbie after a 8ish year hiatus. Upgraded to extra last week and got an IC-705 on the way! #hamradio #amatureradio #ham
Back in 2022 I flew to AZ and took my IC7300 with me. I signed in at the Titan Missile Museum south of Tucson and got permission to use the discone at the facility. The antenna is 80 feet tall and has great SWRs on all frequencies. The tuner within the 7300 didn't need to work hard at all. #amatureradio #hamradio #discone #ic7300

Any #hamradio #amatureradio pros with #fldigi have any resources, YT video links for how to tune the #morsecode receive features? I would like to know how to use this software to decode Morse, but the features don't tell you what they mean, just what that button is called. I want to know how to adjust sensitivity, signal width, etc etc.
Joining the real HT crowd with my first non-Baofung #amatureradio handi talkie. I went with the suggestion from @VE6LK and got the Yaesu VX-6R with a buy once, cry once approach.
@croyle I was giddy like a kid at Christmas. Sadly the house was a bit hectic at the moment when I ran in from the garage with the announcement. My XYL and children were busy and not impressed. XYL liked the idea of #morsecode way better as a #amatureradio hibby then #FT8
@VE6LK @ve3qbz @KJ6VU @VA3ON @va3mw @n6mts well the #HamRadioWorkBenchPodcast strikes the credit card again. I went with the #yaesu VX-6R from hamradio.com #BuyOnceCryOnce with quality #amatureradio gear
@bud_t has something recently happened that is causing #amatureradio to be less welcoming (other than the entire 80m band on phone mode I night I assume)?
I completed my first #hamradio #morsecode qso today with K7GT in Medford OR on 40m with my IC7300 and a borrowed straight key! I'm super excited, even if I had to cheat by waiting for weeks for a strong enough signal for FLdigi to be able to reliably decode for me because I cannot head copy yet. I exchanged SKCC No, location and signal and let Allan know he was my first #amatureradio contact on Morse. I'm super excited. Now I just need 15min a day for a few more months so I can head copy.
Trying my hand at getting spotted by the RBN on CW #morsecode #hamradio #amatureradio And it worked! Someone even came back to me, but I could never catch more than a few letters in a row as their signal faded in and out.
Ok #HamRadio #amatureradio peeps. I have listened to the #HamRadioWorkBenchPodcast for 2+ yrs ..... But I still don't think I can get on the DMR bandwagon. I just want a dual band FM handi-talkie, but if it could do another mode that might be neat. I want a better filtering front end (aka not a UV5R..... I already have those) because where I SOTA is a heavy RF environment. I don't actually remember the latest buying advice for <$200 HTs. @VE6LK or @KJ6VU or @VA3ON or @va3mw or @n6mts
@alex @KF7IKI welcome! Do you have a fav operating mode for #hamradio #amatureradio ?
@Geojoek what does CW in this context mean because I'm just thinking #morsecode but that probably isn't it. If you mean mute & block then I'm with you there! I'm not here for an argument, no matter what #montypythom may think. I'm here for the #hamradio #amatureradio content
The first #hamradio #amatureradio #kit of the year has arrived! The #MorseCode #MorseTutor Thanks to @VE6LK I can't wait to use this on my journey to learn CW this year
Ok #hamradio #amatureradio people that also have a #inductionstove .... I am connecting one today and this naturally made me wonder if I can expect to obliterate my HF receive if the stove top is on...... Anyone have experience with this?
Ok #hamradio #amatureradio people. I don't have a #morsecode #CW paddle or key and I want to learn. What should be get? A straight key? Or one of those dual paddles? I'd like whatever it is to work on my 7300 or on the QCX type radios. Should I also get the @VE6LK #MorseTutor kit? May be one kit for each of my kids to build?
#RISCV radio transmitter in your pocket. Yes please #hardwarehacking #hacking #maker #amatureradio
