Alex Block<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@arstechnica" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>arstechnica</span></a></span> So here's the question. Part of my web agency's service offering is <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/PDFRemediation" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PDFRemediation</span></a> for <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/DigitalAccessibility" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DigitalAccessibility</span></a>. This requires <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Adobe" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Adobe</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/Acrobat" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Acrobat</span></a>, which is only available on Windows. While we can run Windows in VirtualBox on Linux, as far as I'm aware there's no PDF software natively available im Linux that can replace the Windows version of Acrobat.</p><p>Maybe I have a knowledge gap (who doesn't!). Can anyone suggest a solution?</p>
