Aktuell wieder super Spaß am aktiven Prokastinieren hab mir jetzt #Vim eingerichtet und #Zellij ausprobiert. Bisher gefällt ist mir hab mir auch nun ein Bash script geschrieben bei dem ich nach meinen coding Projekten suchen kann und sobald ich gefunden habe wo ich hin will kann ich sofort dort hinspringen und eine zellij session started oder meine alte wenn es eine gab wird resurrected. #Linux macht Spaß

In the recent version of #zellij, I added an opt-outable "tips on startup" feature. I thought this would be a cool way of helping users discover the less known features of the app.

I had to struggle with myself a bit before adding a line on the bottom of each tip inviting people to sponsor my #opensource work.

I thought it would create friction and some potentially negative interaction with users. To my surprise though, I have heard 0 complaints. Good for you, Zellij community.

Well, it turns out that on my desktop machine with an Nvidia GPU, the only #terminal that doesn't cause a (very annoying) freeze of the whole system when waking up from suspend is #alacritty for some reason.

And so I'm back to the roots, and trying out #zellij on top of Alacritty for multiplexing capabilities.

So far so good.

The logs state "Plugin with id: 2 not found" multiple times. So apparently the plugins are missing. How do I install #zellij plugins in #nixos

Hey #nixos people. I am struggling with configuring #zellij on nixos. I have it installed, but zellij is stuck in the unlock-first keybinding preset, but I would like to use the default one. Alt + f is not available. In zellij, Ctrl + O + C should lead me to a dialog where I can change the keybinding preset. Unfortunaltely, this keybinding is not available. I tried to add it manually to my zellij config, which leads to the error in the screenshot. What can I do?

using Tmux as my main terminal multiplexer instead of Zellij.
Why? It does not support kittys terminal graphics protocol yet.

Recent change of defaults in #nix #homemanager #Zellij terminal integration options:
programs.zellij.enableBashIntegration programs.zellij.enableFishIntegration
messed me up. What it means is not a true integration but autostarting of the multiplexer with the terminal. This seriously should be false by default...
