Marko Lindqvist<p>I used to say that running <a href="https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">worldcommunitygrid.org/</span><span class="invisible"></span></a> <a href="https://social.linux.pizza/tags/worldcommunitygrid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>worldcommunitygrid</span></a> is completely free, as the CPU time I put to it would otherwise go to waste as idling. Nowadays one may need to adjust that statement a bit, as there would also be the option to mine crypto currencies instead. Maybe I've lost some revenue by donating so far 95 years worth of CPU time to scientific research? No plans to change my course of action, though. This research is more important than some coins on my bank account.</p>
