Wintermute_BBSI've just moved <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/WintermuteBBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#WintermuteBBS</a> (the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Linux</a> based one I run since 2009, the other one is the infamous "RC-BOX BBS" which is the <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/Z80" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Z80</a> based one) from a soulless x86 vm somewhere in the cloud to an old <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/RaspberryPi3" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#RaspberryPi3</a> B+ at home, in the living room shelf more or less next to <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/rc2014bbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#rc2014bbs</a>. The natural habitat of any good <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/bbs" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bbs</a> I guess.The move went rather well, I had to recompile the binaries to get <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/arm64" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#arm64</a> ones and migrate the existing userbase. No data lost, <a href="https://oldbytes.space/tags/DOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#DOS</a> doorgames work but they take a little longer to load.
