Just compared the odometer on my cargo family bike to the reading from 2 years ago
may 2023: 2900mi
june 2025: 6090mi
I rode nearly 1600mi per year the last two years. My work commute is about 7mi round trip.
My main takeaway is that even though riding the bike for chores and social outings doesn't really feel like anything special it must be adding some miles. I'm far from a 5x52 work commuter.

28 F & 20mph headwinds (-2C&32kph). I swapped the cargo bars over to Big Pink and put a Jones riser H bar on the fatbike. I’m happy to report that the aero position on the H bars really works.

Today was the end of #wintercycling, December 1 to February 28. My total is 5236 km (3253 miles).
Tomorrow, March 1, is the begin of "meteorological spring" in southern Germany. It will take a few more weeks until there are more warm and sunny than cold and wintry days.
