Guy<p>Dear Fediverse,, </p><p>A friend of mine wants to get into scientific <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Python</span></a> (specifically for chemical engineering needs). He works in a corporation that doesn't allow Anaconda to be installed in their corporate environment (probably due to licence fees). As he's not an experienced user, a no-frills Python distribution would be good to allow for painfree NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter, Spyder, etc. ... so not vanilla core Python.</p><p>Any suggestions? <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/WinPython" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WinPython</span></a> maybe?</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/FediHelp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FediHelp</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/ScientificPython" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ScientificPython</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.nz/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a></p>
