It has more privacy features than most messaging networks have. Both the server and the client are open-source. </p><p>I've been using <a href="https://twit.social/tags/session" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>session</span></a> for a couple of years now that <a href="https://twit.social/tags/wickrme" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>wickrme</span></a> shutdown. In general, it it is good. It had a rough time for a while as it was Target targeted my a multi-month long <a href="https://twit.social/tags/ddos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ddos</span></a> attack, but those have seem to be resolved over 9 months ago.</p>
