neongod<p>Wohoo, now NComm is up and running too. Had to make a custom floppy from the archive, but it was straightforward. AmigaCity <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/BBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BBS</span></a>. I haven’t been there for long, catching up on unread posts. <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/RetroComputing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RetroComputing</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Amiga" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Amiga</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/telnet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>telnet</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/WiModem232" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WiModem232</span></a> <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/retronetworking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>retronetworking</span></a></p>
neongod<p>Making the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Wimodem232" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Wimodem232</span></a> work on an <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/Amiga" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Amiga</span></a> 500 without a hard drive was a breeze. I booted a Workbench 1.3, then swapped to the A-Talk III disk which can run from floppy (installs fonts and stuff it needs on the Workbench disk).</p><p>Set baud rate to 300 and the modem is right there with the ATI command. Switching the baud rate up to 9600 works fine on the <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/A500" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>A500</span></a>. The WiFi connection can be configured with one command or even from a web UI the modem provides. </p><p><a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/BBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BBS</span></a>, here I come.</p>

John Friel III<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://beta.birdsite.live/users/ef1j95" class="u-url mention">@<span>ef1j95</span></a></span> , Do you use the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/WiModem232" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>WiModem232</span></a> on your Teletype? If so, what baud rate did you set the wimodem to? Now that I&#39;ve had my <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ASR33" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ASR33</span></a> restored, I can communicate to my 5150 PC with a null modem cable if I set <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Qmodem" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Qmodem</span></a> to 110,7N2 and everything is fine. If I select 8N2, all characters from the 33 have the high bit set and I don&#39;t know if this is correct or not.</p><p>Thoughts?</p>
