Normally, they live on the lime trees at the church beside the museum. Firebugs feed on fallen lime seeds (and seeds of some other plants) and dead insects. They are no pest. They communicate and gather with the help of <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/pheromones" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#pheromones</a>. The snowdrops in our village date from the 1920s. A wonderful scent, the bees are powdered with pollen!
