Coverage is immense. The successor was not the open access button, but rather <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/oadoi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>oadoi</span></a> (oadoi.org), which used to do exactly what you describe, for research papers. Now that redirects to <a href="https://mamot.fr/tags/unpaywall" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>unpaywall</span></a>, which might also work on research data (but beware, last time I checked they send all your browsing history to their web service).</p>
Eric Schares<p>At the end of last year, I was looking into the <a href="https://scholar.social/tags/Unpaywall" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Unpaywall</span></a> status of articles that are openly available because their embargo has expired. Unpaywall classifies these as Hybrid, but I think it should instead be Bronze.
