It always makes me wonder about #native #species, and when exactly they became 'native'. Maybe it would be better to not use 'native' but '#non-invasive' instead to decide which species are allowed to flourish. If #plants or #animals have detrimental effects they can then be removed.

Well, that was news to me today. The "Wild Boar Paradox". Wild boars in Europe are more radioactive than other species, likely due to their deer #truffle habit. The radioactivity seems to have no impact on them.

The radio version also distinguished the truffles better--said these are not the ones humans eat, which are not radioactive.
