Harry Rutherford<p>I saw that one of the new emoji in iOS 16.4 was this Eurasian Blackbird, which I thought was weirdly specific, and I was curious enough to dig back and find the proposal… which was all about the need for a crow/raven emoji. But crow became ‘black bird’ which Apple interpreted as blackbird, so here we are.
