After Elton John had great success contributing songs for Disney's #TheLionKing, Disney asked Phil Collins to contribute songs for Disney's #Tarzan. He was happy to say yes. His work on this film took four years: he wrote and sang its songs. Lion Angelo - Struts

This was a fun attempt at rotoscoping Simba's strutting walk cycle into my lion sona's walk. I love how it came out BUT I definitely do plan on redoing it again, this time by actually rough animating my own strut walk cycle instead of tracing over the OG movie footage.

A very spontaneous lil' animation project xD

So originally, I WAS gonna try my hand at animating this from scratch while using Simba's strutting walk cycle as a reference. But nahh I'm on a time sensitive schedule with one of my current comic inking gigs. So to cut down on spenting hella time indulging on this, I decided to do to rotoscope it and draw my sona's curly mane in each frame.
