#WordWeavers 10/1 "Why is your MC the way that they are?"

The original Island story establishes immediately (I think) and then almost never refers back to it that the male MC is following in his fathers footsteps. Allegedly the older man came to the island and the younger man is trying to find him.
So, I guess, the answer is daddy issues?
I have no idea why the female MC is the way she is. One of the few characters I have where there's just a void where her self should be. Considering the context of The Island, this will be made into a plot point at some stage. I just got to figure it out ...

Work on The Island progresses. I have half of the stories bullet pointed, and drafts shall commence tomorrow. The other half of the stories will gain bullet points and drafts between now and this time next week.
I want to draft up the half that I have ideas for before heading into the other half, since they all feed into each other, I want to see if some word magic happens and helps me with the second half of stories.
I dont yet know if I have bitten off more than I can chew, setting the goal of having all 12 drafts done in January, but I can only power on and see what happens.
