Gleichzeitig auch Homelab mal wieder angefasst:
- #Proxmox Update
- #Tailscale gerade gezogen
Remote Lab Setup upgedated:

@yorgos @neil I love pihole! FYI, I still always use my piholes outside of my home with #headscale and #Tailscale.
Have started using both #NextDNS and #Tailscale. Oooh get me.
How about installing VS Code on a #GitHub Windows runner? This allows you to do this unattended.
runs-on: windows-latest
steps:
- uses: gbraad-actions/install-vscode-action@main
- name: Run VS Code serve-web
run: |
code serve-web --host 0.0.0.0 --without-connection-token
Handy with #Tailscale when you want to debug the build on a runner. Pr even to quickly enable RDP and log in.
Are there any Tailscale users here ? Is it good ? Is it easy to use ? What are your use cases ?
The Fun Phase is Here!
Check out part 5 of my homelab journey series.
This homelab journey has entered the “doing things with self-hosted apps” phase!

Every time I provision a new machine I have to relearn that my #Tailscale auth keys have almost assuredly expired since the last time I did it.
I love how #tailscale removes the overthinking to add self-hosted services to my cloud server because I no longer have to expose them to the open internet at all.
All my devices are in my tailnet at any time so they can privately and safely access the required ports whiteout gambling on security thanks to ACL groups and rules.

Awesome, just got my Nextcloud instance transferred to my own home office server, only accessible on my tailnet. Also turned off all remote access to everything and am using the tailnet exclusively for internal access to my services. Things are really working well so far. Knocked out a lot of hanging issues with this migration.
i haven't heard it yet but i just saw an episode about #game #streaming on #SelfHostedPodcast. i have done a lot of hacking around this over the last few months so i'm excited to hear it but i'm glad to see a mention of #tailscale because i use that on my iPad, MetaQuest Hat, AppleTVs and services I operate.
i use Sunshine server on Windows and Linux for Moonlight clients. works so well! 2560x1440 0 dropped frames at 60fps 20Mbps+, I cap Sunshine at 60, otherwise 144Hz
