J’espère pouvoir lui trouver une utilisation pas trop gourmande :-) <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Microsoft" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Microsoft</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Surface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Surface</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SurfaceRT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SurfaceRT</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>linux</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gnome</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/postmarketos" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>postmarketos</span></a></p>

ricol03<p>Recently got a Surface RT for around 50€ as my Christmas gift, it came with the type cover that's honestly quite good. Upgraded it from Windows RT 8.1 to Windows 10 ARM32 (a beta build mind you), and you can still do some stuff here, surprisingly.</p><p>Granted, it can be pretty slow at times, due to it being an 11 year old 2-in-1 hybrid at this point. Couple that with the limited app support for this architecture and OS combination, and you have a machine that doesn't really work for most people.</p><p>Still, you can do office work (it comes with a licensed copy of Office 2013), browse the web *relatively* alright with Legacy Edge and IE 11, use Discord with Unicord (it is quite slow though) and watch YouTube videos (requires an alternative website for that). Heck, I even did a small report for college with my teammate and it got the job done.</p><p>For the novelty and quirkiness, I'm quite happy with this purchase!</p><p><a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/surface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>surface</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/surfacert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>surfacert</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>windows</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/windowsrt" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>windowsrt</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/windows10" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>windows10</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/computers" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>computers</span></a> <a href="https://sakurajima.moe/tags/technology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>technology</span></a></p>

Brad Linder<p>It was big news when Microsoft announced in 2016 that it was bringing its desktop Windows operating system to computers with ARM chips made by Qualcomm. But seven years later most Windows on ARM computers to date have offered underwhelming performance and/or high price tags (or both), making them niche devices at best.<br>That&nbsp;could change soon. This week Qualcomm is […]</p><p><a href="https://liliputing.com/lilbits-nvidia-and-amd-to-make-arm-chips-for-windows-pcs/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://liliputing.com/lilbits-nvidia-and-amd-to-make-arm-chips-for-windows-pcs/</a></p>

Lithlad<p>Well I finally got around to installing <a href="https://piaille.fr/tags/RaspberryPiOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RaspberryPiOS</span></a> on the <a href="https://piaille.fr/tags/SurfaceRT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SurfaceRT</span></a> tablet. Outside of seemingly an h264 codec issue, it's running pretty well. Not fast, but well. It managed to run overleaf okay through chromium so in theory I could use it for work.</p>
