Matthias<p>I'm really happy to announce the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/SummerofNix" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SummerofNix</span></a> 2023, organized together with the <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/NixOS" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NixOS</span></a> and <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/NLNet" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>NLNet</span></a> foundations.</p><p>We have significantly reworked the collaboration format and will focus exclusively on <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/mobprogramming" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mobprogramming</span></a> this year. Matthias<p>I had a great chat with Michiel from NLNet who are helping the <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://social.network.europa.eu/@EU_Commission" class="u-url mention">@<span>EU_Commission</span></a></span> invest grant money ( <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.xyz/@NGIZero" class="u-url mention">@<span>NGIZero</span></a></span> ) in the Open Source ecosystem. Various ideas how to further provide funding for interested people to simplify deployment solutions for the OS ecosystem, similar to what has been started with <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/SummerofNix" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SummerofNix</span></a> . Looking forward to continue brainstorm with anyone interested 😉</p>
