John Autry<p>Born this day in 1909 Leo Fender. Founder of Fender Musical Instruments. In 1950 the company released the Esquire, a thin body, fast neck electric that wouldn't feedback when played at volume of dance halls. Adding a second pick-up in '51 we had the Broadcaster which became the Telecaster. Still one of the most popular electric guitars for any genre.</p><p>Need I say the sounds we hear today might be very different if not for Leo Fender. "The Legless Scotsman" HakonenVihdoin ja viimein Lottosen rakentamassa stratossa (Mfezi voisi olla hyvä nimi) on Lottosen oma logo. Alkuperäinen tilaaja vuonna 2004 halusi toisen logon. Kitaran speksit 1954 straton mukaan. Kyllä kotimaisessa käsityökitarassa pitää olla sen tekijän logo. <br>

Finally this 2004 strat gets the makers logo it deserves. It was built by Finnish artisan luthier Juha Lottonen by the specs of a 1954 strat and the original owner wanted a different kind of a logo. This looks cool now. <br>

I bought that <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/stratocaster" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>stratocaster</span></a> factory-fresh in '78 because I had no hope of affording a 'real' not-cbs Vintage strat. </p><p>But now, just because of my age, my baby qualifies for vintage repairs! Just carving a new bone nut is $100! Then it must be installed.</p><p>And then the backlog. Six weeks?! I told <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/12thfret" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>12thfret</span></a> it is their fault for not abducting young people and forcing them into a life of luthierism!</p>
