@mykhaylo @jbz now I need to try both! I heard about Babashka at the last #StrangeLoop and… it slipped out of my mind
I can probably get #SchemeSh packaged in #Fedora easily, we already have #ChezScheme

@garrett @hub indeed. We need to get better at doing this ... When #StrangeLoop wound down the organizers suggested something like this could be the future, but in practice people still want to get together because we have not solved replacing the #HallwayTrack yet
Still bummed out that Strange Loop isn't happening anymore. Does anyone know of similar conferences? #strangeloop
@billseitz Happy to make a connection about connections!
Here's an upcoming paper about how the IETF makes protocols about protocols: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tgZ86ugijXPUOo_lD3kLfQBPbneecUNzZim1GOgkC1M/edit #Internet #protocols #meta #selfreference #strangeloop
A good question from this morning: what’s a good way to discover local and regional conferences like #bangbangcon, #strangeloop, #gogaruco, and all the lovely eclecticons.
Anyone have advice on this?

I really enjoyed this #strangeloop talk about procedural generation. Having experimented with it quite a bit in the past (and continuing to do so!) it's extraordinarily easy to create an endless sea of samey algorithmic mash, much trickier to turn that into something interesting.
The video for "Programming Distributed Systems" by @mpmilano is now on YouTube!
