'Only carry what you control' - this is a really good opsec rule.
If we are to carry coms (phones, computers, radios), we need to be able to trust them. I don't trust any cell baseband radio with its own processor. But... there are no good alternatives. Except leaving the cell phone behind.

Is the Empire, as depicted in Andor, fascist? I'm not convinced. It's authoritarian, totalitarian and bureaucratic, certainly.
But for fascism, you need a leader figure who's the focus of all the propaganda, and the Emperor is not that, and you need designated outgroups: Jews, disabled, trans, etc.

¡Cancelaron la mejor serie de Star Wars! Nah, se termina Andor, pero ya sabíamos que iban a ser solo dos temporadas, porque... bueno, ustedes vieron Rogue One, ¿no? Eze y MaGnUs se sientan a hacer la RE: seña de la segunda temporada de la serie, siguiendo al propio Cassian Andor, pero también a grandes personajes descubiertos en la anterior, desde nuevos como Luthen Rael o Kleya Marki, hasta pre existentes en la franquicia (pero nunca desarollados) como Mon Mothma.
Además de dar background sobre los orígenes de ciertos elementos centrales de la serie como parte de manuales de juegos de rol de los noventas, repasamos todas las implicancias políticas del comportamiento monstruosos del fascismo, con la galaxia muy lejana actuando como un espejo de nuestra propia realidad. Para redondear, también reseñamos Tales of the Underworld, la nueva temporada de la antología "Tales", con el orígen del mercenario Cad Bane, y un nuevo camino para la no-sith-pero-tampoco-jedi Asajj Ventress.

Bin gerade immer noch geflasht von #StarWarsAndor, unbedingte Empfehlung! Der dreckige Alltag der "kleinen Leute" in Krieg & Diktatur, die Intrigen in allen politischen Lagern, eine von oben infiltrierte Rebellion, ein durchgeplanter Völkermord, Oppositionspolitiker, die glauben, sich gegen die Diktatur politisch wehren zu können oder die sich arrangieren, so viele Parallelen zu Geschichte & Gegenwart & außerdem mit den Details auf Ghorman eine liebevolle Hommage an die französische Résistance.

I think people are going to look back on Andor & Rogue One and how they tie into A New Hope as some of the best Star Wars story telling ever.
