Finally taming KDE Plasma on @opensuse #Slowroll
The good aspects of MATE, which I prefer, are it can be made pretty and gets out of the way. Finally getting KDE away from it's bland, flat, corporate style, and looking reasonable. Mostly gets out of the way too, except for windows going wibbly every now and again when I move the pointer into the corner. Will sort that in a mo. Using a panel as a dock isn't the worst, but it's not like plank, which doesn't like wayland.

Installed #openSUSE #SlowRoll today promptly after discovering it last night.

#TumbleWeed and I never really got along, but I'm giving it another go because I love the concept of a slow rolling distro with a focus on stability.

He probado Agama para instalar Leap 16 Alpha 0 y luego para instalar Slowroll, y dicen que no hay dos sin tres...

Cuando hice la prueba de Agama con Leap se había publicado una versión de Grub 2 para manejar TPM en lugar de systemd-boot...

Pero Tumbleweed/Slowroll son las versiones "pioneras", todo lo que va a Leap viene de ahí, ¿no?

Pues ahora estoy instalando Slowroll con soporte TPM. Cruzad los dedos -aún faltan unos 2300 paquetes

¿Curiosidad sobre #Slowroll?

,#openSUSE publicó la versión del sistema *rolling release* #Tumbleweed pero de actualización más lenta para personas que no quisieran actualizar tanto su sistema.

Podría haberlo descargado y simplemente instalarlo en la forma tradicional, pero he preferido aprovechar que está disponible con #Agama y he publicado un artículo sobre este nuevo instalador de openSUSE para sus sistemas operativos.

Does anyone know if there is an estimate release date planned for openSUSE Slowroll stable (i.e. moving out of "experimental" stage)?

I've been trying to find any kind of information on this but from what I can find there hasn't been any Slowroll news in several months.
