I learned my son equates silent comedy with slapstick, and Raymond Griffith was not a physical comedian. The scenes where Griffith is with two sisters my son decried as too long. I also learned my son likes best the comedians who had complete artistic control over their films.</p>

On a whim she auditioned for Mack Sennett and became a “Sennett Bathing Beauty” before embarking on 15yr long film career of nearly 110 credited films She retired in 1930 after making 2 final talkies.
