For users of any operating system, not just #Linux, what might keep you from trying/running an #immutable #Fedora desktop? If you are already running one, why did you choose it?
Fedora Ostree gamers, do you install steam as a flatpak, toolbox/distrobox container or layer it?
Do you use RPM-OSTree but don't have a good way of searching for packages in the terminal? Try 'rpm-ostree search' today!

Aaaannd #silverblue is out. I simply have no tolerance for stacking window managers anymore. #sericea is an option you say. No, it's not. In their quest for immutability, #fedora has squirreled the config files in poorly documented locations and pulling them all into your home .config folder is tedious.
Which Fedora atomic spin have you installed on hardware before? Select all that apply.

Fedora 39 has been released!
I gave a talk with @me at the Fedora 39 release party about what's new and what's next for Fedora Atomic Desktops (Silverblue, Kinoite, Sericea and Onyx) and wrote the summary in this blog post: https://tim.siosm.fr/blog/2023/11/22/fedora-atomic-desktops-39/
Playing around with #Fedora #Sericea (KDE spin of #Silverblue) and hit a snag. Can anyone tell me how to replace `nano-default-editor` with `vim-default-editor`? `rpm-ostree override replace` won't let me do it.

Are you on one of our Fedora immutable spins but want to try out the Fedora 39 Beta? You can rebase to the beta and rollback easily - here's a guide on how to do it!
Works for all immutable spins: Silverblue, Kinoite, Sericea, and Onyx.

Suppose you want to try an immutable OS. Of course you want Wayland. And you want Sway. But all those configs! In comes nwg-shell, a great GTK toolkit for Sway, already on Arch, Slackware and Fedora. And also on Sericea, with thesaigoneer-sericea-nwg, your all-in-one solution. Look here: https://github.com/thesaigoneer-sericea/thesaigoneer-sericea and give it a shot, easy-peasy!

@Joseph_of_Earth I just switched from #Kinoite (which I love) to #Sericea to try it out. Just two commands and a reboot to switch. #rpmostree is amazing!

When you're using one of Fedora's immutable spins like Silverblue, Kinoite, or Sericea, you aren't limited to just that desktop environment.
With ostree, you can easily rebase to another image, try it out, and switch back or to another image whenever you want!
