Wichtige Verfahren mussten liegenbleiben, teils jahrelang. Anwälte verdienten riesige Summen an Gebühren. Das hat sich seither mehrfach wiederholt: <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Fluggastrechte" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Fluggastrechte</a>, Prämienerhöhungen in der privaten Krankenversicherung, <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Gl%C3%BCcksspiel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Glücksspiel</a> - jetzt Meta.Die Alternative? Ein Staat, der mit scharfen <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Gesetzen" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Gesetzen</a> und kompetenten <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Beh%C3%B6rden" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Behörden</a> die geltenden Regeln gegen mächtige Konzerne selbst durchsetzt, <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Bu%C3%9Fgelder" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Bußgelder</a> verhängt, illegale <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Gewinne" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Gewinne</a> einzieht und als <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Schadenersatz" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Schadenersatz</a> an die Betroffenen auskehrt - ohne dass es zigtausende <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/Zivilverfahren" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Zivilverfahren</a> braucht. Das wäre nach deutschem und europäischem Recht durchaus möglich. Aber stattdessen kommen die ersten Forderungen, man müsse den amerikanischen Internetkonzernen noch stärker nachgeben und nicht einmal geltendes Recht, wie den <a href="https://xn--baw-joa.social/tags/DigitalServicesAct" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#DigitalServicesAct</a>, auf sie anwenden. So werden Bürger*innen alleingelassen.
