@freeformz not only that, we require them to metaphorically line up behind a single candidate, even when counting "Rank choice" IRV/STV 
But #ApprovalVoting and #STARvoting (and some ranked ballot counting methods, mostly pairwise ones) don't diminish your voting power when you like more candidates because your lesser favorites are counted simultaneously. Wild is that the majority of voters often like the majority of candidates and we don't seem to see this.

Under-appreciated benefit of #STARvoting is you get to specifically fill in the ZERO stars bubble if that's how you really feel. It's zero by default, but with some candidates you just want to make sure.

FairVote has so much money to spread "your vote is always counted" misinformation about #RankChoice (and lies about #STARvoting), that nobody tries to see through the second or third round of IRV/RCV/STV that is just a shell-game stall tactic to prevent #VotingReform https://starvoting.org

I just discovered that the #STARvoting hashtag has been getting some use: not often, and mostly not recently, but encouraging! (By way of explanation: I used to be an advocate of STV, but since noticing some problems with ranked-choice voting as implemented in Minneapolis, I came to a conclusion that STAR voting in one of its many forms would probably be a big improvement not only on RCV but on STV too).
