Ie, this is mere supposition.</p><p>Each time i hear of <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/suicides" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>suicides</span></a> that &quot;surprised&quot; family/friends, who can&#39;t see any overt reason, i ponder the covert reasons. What if the ex-person was a deeply closeted <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/lgbtqi" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>lgbtqi</span></a> peep, who by dint of state/national <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/AntiGay" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>AntiGay</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/AntiTrans" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>AntiTrans</span></a> laws, &amp;/or familial <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ReligoFascism" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>ReligoFascism</span></a>, or internalised homo/transphobia, decided there was no hope?</p>
