If you couldn't get a ticket this year or need to catch up on all the other talks, they are now on YouTube!

I nearly missed this, but all the videos of the talks from #PyConIT2024 have been uploaded https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLFxkG856NgEG9yqSRnIMnhHNu_AnIsCO8
The edited video from my @pycon talk is up. I am very happy with how this one turned out. If you have 45 minutes to spare, you might want to watch it.
(Note to self, for next time: don't stand so that half of my body is acting as the projection screen; it's a bit visually distracting.)
This is Ernesto. Ernesto is the best speaker communicator that I know of, in any conference I've been to.
If you run speaker communications for a conference, be like Ernesto.
One cool thing that I've learned @ #PyConIT2024 is that the next version of uvicorn is going to have a built in process manager, so there will be no need to run uvicorn from gunicorn if you wanted to run multiple processes
Obviously, #PyConIT2024 (and 2023) called for some food exploration.
As always, I don't claim for these to be the 3 *best* places to go to, but rather 3 *good* places, among a multitude.
Except this time it's actually 4, including a Special Mention.

This year’s masking policy was “wear a mask if you want, and some will be available on demand”. Clearly it didn’t work for me. I also haven’t heard anything about the matter from the staff while on site.
Sadly, I don’t think I’ll come back next year if the policy isn’t revised.
I’m seeing a lot of toots from people who came back from #PyConUS2024, and tested negative to COVID. Meanwhile, I’m just back from #PyConIt2024 : I don’t think I was ever that sick in my entire adult life, and I was one of maybe two to three attendees wearing a mask.

On the train home, I was looking at the funniest photos taken at PyCon Italia 2024
Thanks to everyone I've met in Florence for their willingness to capture a memory together
If you were one of the many people at PyCon Italia 2024 #PyConIT2024 who wanted to talk to me about job opportunities at Canonical but didn't manage to find a time before the end of the conference, please drop me a line.
#PyConIT2024 was really great, as always!! Thanks to all the volunteers, the speakers, the people and the friends that contributed to make it wonderful! See you in Bologna <3
My #PyConIT2024 talk was standing room only and we had to close the doors 10 minutes before the talk was scheduled to start, so uh, tapping the sign.
