Tom<p>I bought some Thomcord grape cuttings that I found online in a location that can ship to here. Filled another tray up the other day and got them on the heat this morning.</p><p>Put the bags on different, also changed up some on the other cuttings. In the past I didn't have them on heat so just bagged them and put them somewhere it wasn't cold or sunny.</p><p>The idea is to keep the top cool, the soil warm to promote a callus and roots to grow from that.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/propagating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>propagating</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/grapes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>grapes</span></a></p>
Tom<p>Started 24 grape cuttings. 8 each of Thompson seedless, the century old pink grape, and some Moore's Early.</p><p>Plan is to start some vines somewhere that's easier to harvest and able to be protected from 🐓 birds 🐦‍⬛ of all sizes. Not currently possible because they're mostly in landscaping areas out of the way, aka on and around rocks.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/gardening" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>gardening</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/propagating" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>propagating</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/grapes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>grapes</span></a></p>
