Concept: the Tragedy of Bahamut the Platinum Dragon God

Bahamut starts out with everything you could want from life. He's radiant, powerful, wise, and surrounded by friends. He's supernaturally wealthy.

And has all of that to lose, if he is ever remembered for what he is: a dragon sitting on a vast wealth of both riches, magic, and even divine interventions.

Why does he hoard, and not give freely? Why does he not take the fight to evil directly? Why do princes start the wars, but always send the p(aladins)?

His hubris and hesitancy, his self-serving notions of peace and diplomacy, will be his tragic undoing.

Refusing to act is no good virtue, but cowardice and apathy, even of ignorance, are the virtues of evil, aligned more closely with tyranny. His anger at his enemies is worth noting, but anger is a mask--what lies beneath is failure to take personal responsibility for the mess he could so easily clean up.

Bahamut must die.
