MakerSpace<p>The Raspberry Pi Zero is great, but what do you do about power? Bernhard Bablok shows you how a PiJuice Zero pHAT can help with power management<br><a href="https://www.makerspace-online.com/pijuice-hat/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">makerspace-online.com/pijuice-</span><span class="invisible">hat/</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PiZero" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PiZero</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/PiJuice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PiJuice</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/HAT" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HAT</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/power" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>power</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/battery" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>battery</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/OpenHardware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>OpenHardware</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/UPS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>UPS</span></a></p>

Mike Goatly<p>Are you using <a href="https://toot.community/tags/dotnet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dotnet</span></a> on the <a href="https://toot.community/tags/raspberrypi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>raspberrypi</span></a> with a <a href="https://toot.community/tags/pijuice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pijuice</span></a> HAT for UPS or just as a battery solution? Want to monitor the state of the battery from your code? Then take a look at this little niche package I've just published: PiJuiceSharp <a href="https://github.com/mikegoatly/PiJuiceSharp/" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">github.com/mikegoatly/PiJuiceS</span><span class="invisible">harp/</span></a></p>
Mike Goatly<p>Feeling a bit pleased with myself today. Managed to hook up a <a href="https://toot.community/tags/pijuice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pijuice</span></a> to my custom <a href="https://toot.community/tags/raspberrypi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>raspberrypi</span></a> audiobook players, even soldering on an external power button. As well as obviously being more portable now, the <a href="https://toot.community/tags/pijuice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pijuice</span></a> is smart enough to cut power to the pi when it's shut down, which means the LEDs on the back don't glow through the night.</p>
